1. Acceptance
By downloading or using an Arcanum Apps app, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. These Terms are between you and Arcanum Apps, not with Apple or Google, though the app stores’ own terms also apply.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use AuraMe, and old enough to form a binding contract to make purchases. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with a parent or guardian’s involvement.
3. The service
AuraMe provides personalised astrological and spiritual readings and related features, generated using your inputs, astronomical data, and artificial intelligence. Features, tiers and pricing may change over time.
4. Nature of readings — for reflection, not advice
AuraMe is intended for entertainment, guidance and self-reflection only. Readings are not professional advice and are no substitute for the judgement of a qualified doctor, therapist, financial adviser, lawyer, or other professional. Never disregard professional advice, delay seeking it, ignore medical symptoms, make financial or legal decisions, or take any significant action based solely on a reading. If you are in crisis or may be at risk, contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.
5. Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@arcanumapps.com if you suspect unauthorised use. Please give accurate information and keep it up to date.
6. Subscriptions & billing
- AuraMe offers a free tier and paid subscriptions (Sage, Mystic, Oracle), billed monthly or yearly.
- Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed via RevenueCat. Your payment is governed by the relevant app store’s terms.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- Except where required by law or the app store’s policy, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by the app store, not by us.
- Prices may change; we’ll give notice as required before a change affects you.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app — including by attempting to access it in unauthorised ways, reverse-engineering it, disrupting it, scraping or overloading our services, using it unlawfully, or submitting content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes others’ rights.
8. Your content
Your questions and journal entries remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the service (for example, to generate and store your readings), as described in our Privacy Policy. Please don’t submit others’ personal data or sensitive information you wouldn’t want processed.
9. Our intellectual property
The app, its design, branding (including the AuraMe and Arcanum Apps names and logos), and content we provide are owned by Arcanum Apps or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, or exploit any part of it without our permission.
10. Disclaimers
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that readings are accurate, that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your expectations.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcanum Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for any decisions you make based on a reading. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (see Delete your data). We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [choose jurisdiction — e.g. England & Wales], and disputes will be subject to the courts of [jurisdiction], without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new date, and significant changes will be flagged in the app. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept them.
